Globus sensation: Globus sensation, or the feeling of something at the back of your throat when trying to swallow, can be a sign of acid reflux which is out of control. I would speak to your doctor about a trial of medications to control your reflux, to see if that helps. Adopting anti-reflux measures, such as avoiding caffeine and alcohol, tilting your bed, and following a good diet are also important. Good luck.
