What do they prescribe roxicodone (oxycodone) for?

Roxicodone (oxycodone): Roxicodone is a brand name for a short acting potent form of oxycodone like Percocet or endocet, which have tylenol (acetaminophen) if there is a "cet" on the end of it. It is used for acute pain and is very effective for short term use, but is very addictive and has a high abuse and diversion potential in improper cases, it should be used with caution for severe acute pain in adults without contraindicaitons.
