What do you advise if i'm prescribed to be taking hydrocodone for my wisdom teeth but i haven't taken itpain?

You may not need it: You were given a prescription for hydrocodone to treat any pain or discomfort related to your wisdom teeth and/or their removal. If you are not having discomfort or pain, do not take it. Even though patients are given prescriptions for stronger pain meds, some patients find that taking an OTC analgesic can effectively relieve any discomfort without having to take the prescription pain med.

Pain Control Only: Take the prescribed pain medications like hydrocodone as soon as you begin to feel pain or discomfort. You don’t have to take pain meds if you don’t need to.
