Probably not. : People vary in how quickly they metabolize drugs. I'm assuming you were taking the medicine only as prescribed. I would take the prescription just on case.

Talk to employer: Just in case, i would get a doctor's excuse/note that the med has been prescribed for your post op and then call your employer to let them know. If there is some sort of history of prescription drug problems, by all means, contact them and make sure everything is in writing.
