Call your dentist: Although you do not have a rash, itching can be an early sign of an allergic reaction to the medication. Please call your dentist to discuss your symptoms and consider changing to a different pain medication.

Allergic: Call Oral Surgeon immediately. You may be having allergic reaction to the hydro codons, which can quickly spin out of control. Do not take Med again until you talk to Surgeon.

Common with opiates: due to the release of histamine in the body. To relieve the itchy feeling, take an antihistamine OTC (e.g. benadryl). However, Using these meds together may increase drowsiness. Always talk with your doctor if you have any questions regarding a drug's side effects.
