What are the signs of a urethral stricture?

Dr. James Lin answered

My take is ...: Urethral stricture may manifest with slowly progressive decrease in urine flow over a long duration - years or decades, result from prior injury - instrumentation / trauma or inflammation / infection - STD, may have urethral spotting or superimposed UTI, and taking alpha-blocker like its use for prostate will not improve its related poor urine flow. More? Ask urologist timely.
