Alt level 63, 4 months ago it was 24, just had gallbladder surgery. what would make this go up in 4 months?

Repeat test: I would advise you to get a repeat liver function test In a week or so. If it doesn't normalize, then your doctor may order additional test. Did you have any alcoholic drink before the test?
