I had gallbladder surgery in nov 14. Last week my alt was 40. I found out t is supposed to be under 32. At the time of my surgery it was 82. help!!
I had gallbladder removal 4 weeks ago, and 3-4 days after surgery my alk phos and alt increased significantly. As of July 1st, these values were still elevated but trending downward. Should I have them rechecked or assume theyll return to normal?

Gallbladder removed 3/6. Twinge like RUQ pain persists after removal. ALT 245/AST 173 and has increased since surgery. Alk phos and bilirubin normal. US & CT & MRCP normal. No current meds other than birth control. Whats causing the elevations?
