How long before i get results of my hand x-ray?

1-7 days: Outpatient x-rays done should usually have a report to your doctor in anywhere from 1-3 days, ct scans and mris can take longer depending on where you had the test.

Relatively quickly: Certainly within 24 hours. Digital imaging allows rapid transcription and faxing to ordering physicians. You should call physician's office and speak to office manager to get the results.
