Can strenuous exercise increase AST levels. I did intense core abs abdominal exercises days before and the day before having Labs drawn? AST was 54, ALt is 21. HCV not detected. Abdomen is sore post workout. No jaundice no ascites. No drink alcohol?
If anion gap range in the lab is 9-18 and my result is 8, should I be concerned? Can poor nutrition that I've had in the past few months cause this to be slightly low? Would this low result warrant blood tests to check my liver?
