Congratulations on the negative HIV test, but sorry to hear about HCV. However, depending on the specific test done, you may or may not be infected with HCV. "What do I do" has an obvious answer: discuss with your doctor; or see an infectious diseases specialist or gastroenterologist specializing in liver disease. Good luck.

If you have a test that suggest you may have been infected with hepatitis C, it is important to have it corroborated, and if hepatitis C is present, treated. Hepatitis C can cause liver damage, and even cirrhosis or a liver cancer, so it should not be ignored. Please see your primary doctor or a gastroenterologist ASAP. Good luck.
