Maybe: Having the vaccine would not hurt, but it may be too late to do much more than make the illness less intense. If the exposure did not transfer enough germs to infect, your kid will have the benefit of the vaccine for future exposures. Measles is a dreadful illness and we are seeing more now that some don't vaccinate.
