My 2 year old was at the doctor 3 days ago and was diagnosed with tonsilitis. however he now has a slight red rash on his chest and back. he already had german measles. very irritable.

Rash: Streptococcus infections can cause a rash ( Scarlet fever) and can also be a cause of tonsillitis. Is he on antibiotics? Sometimes the antibiotics can cause a rash in the setting of a viral infection or there can be an allergy. I would contact your pediatrician for follow up.
