You can do it: Anxiety attacks can be treated in a variety of ways. You can work with your doctor to determine what is the best treatment for you. Many people can learn to mange or get rid of anxiety attacks with relaxation techniques. If those are not able to fully resolve the problem there are also a couple different medication approaches to either stop the attacks or prevent them from happening. Good luck!

In addition: ..to relaxation skills, Cognitive Behavior Therapy can be quite effective in alleviating anxiety and/or panic attacks. Please speak to a provider and obtain a referral to a psychologist who specializes in anxiety disorders. That individual can conduct a thorough assessment and make treatment recommendations.
