A member asked:

Is it normal to get an anxiety attack when you think of getting an anxiety attack when feeling normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

We call this: secondary anxiety. That's when you get anxious about possibly getting anxious. This is more of a problem when you have a history of panic attacks than when you don't. Normal? Most people have this experience, but not to the point of incapacitation. If anxiety is a problem try a therapist.
