Anxiety attacks suck: There are 2or 3 things you can do 1) continue with your techniques but add cognitive refocusing: read a book or journal back to front; count from 100 backward eg. 2) go for cognitive based therapy or any psychotherapy 3) ask dr or therapist for psychiatric referral for psychotropic meds. Anxiety and panic attacks are at peak levels in teens and young adults and should dissapate. For now, seek help.
