Variable: Most common symptoms after ureteroscopy are urgency (sensation to void), frequency (need to void often), burning, and pain/pressure over the bladder and sometimes the flank region (back) of the side operated on, especially with voiding. Many of the symptoms are from a stent that is temporarily placed to help drainage. Symptoms usually last until the stent is removed, maybe few days longer.
