Urgent care/ER: Ureteroscopy also involves a cystoscopy in many cases to gain access into the bladder prior to visualizing into the ureter. During the procedure, the prostate may become inflamed, leading to temporary trouble with urinating. Can try a very hot bath to help relax and try voiding in tub but if not successful then need to go to urgent care/ER to get a catheter temporarily and follow-up with doctor.
