What to do about hypoglycemia emergency treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Be prepared: Hi. Let's assume you're on insulin. Hypoglycemia emergencies are very scary for the patient, family & friends, strangers, anyone around! Have sugar always available. Have liquid sugar for extreme lows. Have glucagon for people around you to give you if you're unconscious. Test your blood sugar frequently to preempt severe lows. Be safe! Good luck!
