Wrong specialist: This is more of a question for your nephrologist. I doubt that it would be an issue though.

Phosphate laxative: Phosphate laxatives are generally not safe with any kidney disease, although your status of normal function is reassuring. Phosphate can surge in excess and crystallize in kidneys that are inflamed. Seek a different laxative. And, be sure you remain well hydrated as you prep for the colonoscopy. Dehydration is a major threat to your kidneys, too.
