Wrong specialist: This is more of a question for your nephrologist. I doubt that it would be an issue though.

Phosphate laxative: Phosphate laxatives are generally not safe with any kidney disease, although your status of normal function is reassuring. Phosphate can surge in excess and crystallize in kidneys that are inflamed. Seek a different laxative. And, be sure you remain well hydrated as you prep for the colonoscopy. Dehydration is a major threat to your kidneys, too.

What could be causing high serum IGA (700s) if monoclonal protein ruled out with SPEP, free light chains and immunofixation? Normal liver function, normal colonoscopy and negative ANA, negative for celiac disease. No known infections present.
