Don't find out: If thru & thru the brain about 100%. Most chest and abdominal gunshots are survivable if the patient gets to a trauma center right away. Injuries to the major blood vessels in neck, chest and abdomen decrease the chance of survival. Some shots to legs and arms can be fatal if major vessels are injured and freely bleed-tourniquets save lives!
