A member asked:

Does frequent falling and hitting of the head when learning to walk cause serious injury to my 15 month baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Learning to walk unfortunately involves falling, but practice makes perfect. The skull is very durable and most minor bumps from falling have little to no consequence. It is still important to maintain a clutter free walking environment so there are less things to trip over even though most falls are unpredictable.
