Wrong forum: You should be asking this question of the prescribing Physician and the Dentist who will be doing the extraction. They should consult with each other before your surgery.

Discuss this with..: .. the doctor who prescribed the medication. Your dentist should consult with your physician regarding the treatment and if the medication can be stopped. Do not stop taking it on your own accord.

Xarelto and surgery: Xarelto is approved by EMA for the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism. Among minor interventions without significant bleeding risk are cataract, glaucoma, periodontal surgery and dental extraction of 1 to 3 teeth.Thus Xarelto interruption may not be required. Your surgeon can respect a time window of 24 hours between the last intake of Xarelto and the intervention or take you off the drug.
