Surgery preparation: This question should be addressed by a consultation between the dentist removing the tooth and your physician or cardiologist. It varies from not stopping it at all to a few days prior to the surgery depending upon your complete medical history, especially cardiac concerns and the difficulty of the extraction.

Medications: It is imperative that you present the Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon with a complete list of all of the medications/OTCs/supplements that you take well in advance of the procedure. After examining you, the Surgeon will be best able to advise you depending on your circumstance. If required, the Surgeon will consult with your Cardiologist.
