My dad is 90 and is on plavix, xarelto and aspirin daily due to history of tia's and afib. he needs a tooth extracted. he is not sure if it's safer to go off these meds for a few days or stay on them and endure the bleeding?

This is a decision your father cannot make. His dentist should consult with the prescribing physician to determine if it is safe for him to stop the meds. If not, then an oral surgeon should be consulted for the extraction.
