Cope with panic : During a panic attack, it's often helpful to try to repeat to something simple but true to yourself -- for instance "this will pass. I've had this before. It always passes". Don't try to get the attack to pass more quickly, or suppress it -- as this usually makes it worse. More importantly, it would be useful to seek a psychiatric consult and discuss the many treatments to prevent panic attacks :)
