Panic and anxiety: can produce all sorts symptoms. Purple lips may have something to do w/decreased circulation in that area due to blood vessel constriction. Please see your doc to rule out medical conditions and then a mental health professional to learn strategies to help w/anxiety, e.g, biofeedback, clinical hypnosis, etc. See www.relaxationresponse.org for some self-help.
