Need antibiotics: H Pylori is a bacterial infection which can often lead to development of gastric or duodenal ulcer. The way to eradicate infection, as with any bacteria is with antibiotics along with proton pump inhibitors (PPI). The goal of therapy is to reduce irritation of gastric mucosa. Most popular regimen involves amoxicillin, Clarithromycin and a PPI.
