Paras thesis: Sometimes the dental condition that mandated surgery,mor the surgery itself, can cause nerve injury. It' susuaxlly transient. You should, however, discuss this with your Surgeon.

TransientParesthesia: If the nerve damage is from pressure following surgery and the nerve hasn’t been severed then there is a pretty good chance that recovery will occur in 3-6 month. Magnesium, and B vitamins, especially Vitamin B1, B12 and Vitamin A are recommended.
