Numb: This is information that your Oral Surgeon would want to know about. Call their office tomorrow as this is something that they will want to monitor.

Paresthesia: is a rarer complication of lower dental implant placement. See your surgeon for post-op evaluation and a proper parasthesia treatment as early as possible. The sooner rather than later for a better outcome. Good luck.

Associated Risk: Wisdom teeth in the lower jaw are generally the teeth closest to the nerve that supplies sensory sensation to the lip and chin. The risk of nerve involvement during the removal of impacted wisdom teeth in the lower jaw may increase with removal of fully developed teeth in close proximity to the nerve and can be a risk, which is why removal of wisdom teeth before they are full developed is advised.

Surgeon is correct: These issues usually clear up on their own, however there are therapies to help promote nerve healing... have your surgeon recommend them to you.

Paresthesia: And your question is? You might want to call your Oral Surgeon for advice. He may ask you to wait a few more days or perhaps schedule with a Neurologist. Inflammation in and around the surgical site may be causing a temporary problem, or you may be part of that 4-6%. Talk to your Oral Surgeon.
