Yes.: Liposuction does permanently remove fat cells, however the remaining fat cells can increase in size if there is a weight gain. With aging there is usually a loss of fat in the face and with facelifts and facial procedures we combine fat transfer to the face. Therefore it is key to be cautious before removing fat in the face.
