Many causes: Some causes of random hand and finger numbness include cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve at the neck), thoracic outlet syndrome (pinched nerve or blood vessel in the upper chest/shoulder region) and peripheral neuropathy (carpal or cubital tunnel, and diabetic neuropathy).

Many conditions show: Up as hand numbness. Form the well known such as carpal tunnel and pinched nerve in the neck, to circulation problems, vitamin deficiency, diabetes, thyroid disease, neurological disease, stroke , heart problems and th list goes on. If you have numbness in your hands especially if it is sudden onset and acompanied by what seems to be a serious disturbance in your feeling well get medical atttent.
