Past 5 months or so,left hand index finger joint and thumb randomly twitch,even at night.last night arm was numb when i woke up.i do work at computer but notice twitch also when at home.serious?38 yo female.no weakness,etc.positional vertigo sometime

A primary care doctor, or a physical medicine doctor (Physiatrist, PM&R doctor), can evaluate. A neurologist may be consulted, if needed. They can check the nerves, such as the nerves that run on the underside of the wrist (carpal tunnel area).
