Formula changes: What is your grandson's underlying GI problem and why the concern about mucous in his stools. Is there also blood, poor weight gain/growth, vomiting, irritability, poor feeding. All of these things come in to play when deciding on formula changes and needs. If he is felt to have multiple food allergies, he needs to be consulting with BOTH peds GI and peds ALLERGY. In meantime suggest Nutramigen.
