3 months ago yellow/white mucus started to appear in my stool 2 weeks after i had anal fissure. dr. did all the tests, calprotectin, crp, esr, stool, etc. and all reports are ok. still sometimes i see mucus with burning in anal after bowel?

If continuing for > 3 months, probable proctitis - either from infection (gonorrhea, LGV, schistosomiasis) or inflammatory bowel disease. Need a proctoscopy and (appropriate) biopsy and culture.
