Does sertraline become less effective after long use? ex 2 years

Can over time: Some antidepressants can lose its effectiveness over time. We are not quite sure why this happens. Usually med adjustments or change in meds can help. Could also be due to increased depression other medication interfering with present meds. Or a different underlying medical condition complicating things. See your PCP. For help
