A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cholesterol build-up: Early atherosclerosis may not have symptoms. It's when it becomes severe that it does. Example, in the heart can cause chest pain, sob, nausea, vomiting, etc. In the brain it may cause stroke or ministrokes. This can be weakness, garbled speech, parasthesia, or difficulty walking. In the kidneys it may cause kidney disease which there is no pain . In the extremities it may cause pain with walking.
