A member asked:

My dr says works out for long periods of time increase cortisol levels and i work out for hours a day so would it be okay to take cortisol blockers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: A rise in cortisol is a natural response to exercise. As you become more fit the rise becomes smaller. You should not be taking any "cortisol blockers", to counteract anything that your body does naturally.
