But why?: Hi Bonnie 162 I didn't guite understand 'slightly' in your question, but a submucosal fibroid would be a little unusual at your age, so be sure of the diagnosis. I would recheck any low cortisol value, as well. But if you havent had a period after having normal ones, I hope you continue working with a gynecologist.

Fibroid: Most indications for surgery on a fibroid would be for bleeding. Your are 19 and I understand you have a low cortisol. I would be curious about your estrogen and progesterone. I would talk to your doctor more about hormonal issues before surgery. Thyroid problem?
