A member asked:

Are enalapril, losatan used only in pregnant women with hypertension?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BP in pregnancy: Drugs of the ACE-I class, Enalapril and the angiogtension receptor blocker class, losartan cannot be used in pregnant women. They must be taken off those drugs as soon as they find out that they are pregnant. Other drugs can safely be used to treat hypertension in pregnancy other than those.
