10/hour: Normally a fetus in the third trimester should kick about 10 x/hour. This is an average. Some babies kick many more times than that (especially at night!) babies may kick less during a sleep cycle. Your provider will ask you to do kick counts one hour per day. If at any time you feel like the baby is not moving enough, go to labor and delivery to get the fetus monitored.
