Can a ct scan tell if my enlarged tonsil contains a malignancy or if i just have asymmetrical tonsils? ent says tonsil normal. pcp ordered test. :(

CT scan: Can tell you if there is an abnormal mass in the area. Only a biopsy can tell if this mass is malignant or not. If your ENT says it is normal on exam, it is probably not worrisome. Hopefully, ct scan will not show anything. Good luck.
