Call dentist: That's what you need to do. Pain meds are not solving your problem. They are addictive and you'll build up a tolerance so at a certain point they won't even work. In the end you will be in unbearable pain, and you will still need to see a dentist. The sooner you call the sooner you will feel better.

You shouldn't: Treat dental pain with narcotics, they are bad drugs, your dental problem will progress and become serious and might be easily cured by your dentist.

Absolutely not: Tooth pain can only be resolved by treating the infection. Pain killers, especially addicting narcotics, will only temporarily mask the pain as the infection worsens and spreads. You need to see a dentist now. Don't wait, thi infection will never cure itself.

NO: No. Risky behavior. Take meds as prescribed. No more often. And get the tooth taken care of ASAP.

NSAIDs-Tylenol OTC: and oxycodone is fine for very short period of time. However, painkillers is not the final solution for toothache, only a temporary pain and inflammation relief. You should pay a visit to your dentist for definitive treatment before you get addicted to an opiate like oxycodone.
