Please seek care: It is not safe to mix alcohol and narcotics. You're going to need a whole lot of alcohol if an oxycodone is not working. An abscess needs antibiotics and drainage, and finally treatment. Seek dental care and drink in moderation.

Abscess: Abscess is an infection. Pain killer will not cure infection. Alcohol will dilate blood vessels permitting more rapid spread of infection to other organ systems. You need a combination of a full,course of antibiotics coupled with either root canal treatment or extraction. Call your dentist immediately. And don"t use Oxy and Alcohol together.
