Post op: Ice packs are generally used for the first 24 hours only. I would not suggest you still do that. Is that what your dentist told you to do? Try to cut down on the Oxycodone or better yet stop altogether and use other medications such as Aleve, (naproxen) Motrin, etc. if you can take them. IMPORTANT: Discuss all this with your own surgeon and not over the internet by dentists who cannot properly evaluate you.
