16-20: At 2 years of age most children will have 16 to 20 teeth. The 2 year molars are usually in by about 21/2 years of age but this can vary.

12-16: Before age 2, 4 incisors and 2 canines in each jaw (total 12). At about 18-30 months the 2 year molars (4 of them, one in each quarter) should erupt, and you should be talking to your dentist about sealants. 3 year molars erupt about age 2 1/2 - 3 1/2.
