Not unusual: Pain at a fracture site can persist very commonly for 4 months. Reactive swelling, pain from overuse, pain due to weather changes can persist for 8-12 months. Always a concern with regard to the position of the radius following reduction, and concomitant injury such as carpal tunnel syndrome or ligament injury. Follow up with your orthopedist.
