How much time after i have an appendectomy should i wait to have sex?

Post op restrictions: Generally it is when you feel completely improved after the surgery and is about 2 weeks ,and is also dependent on how it was performed ie lap or open. It is best to speak with your surgeon to see what there individual recommendations are base on your condition

4-6 weeks: Open appendectomy and laparoscopic appendectomy are the same type of procedures for acute appendicitis. It is recommended to wait 4-6 weeks before you can have intercourse.
