No official clock: There is no office timer that clocks the number of hours or days from an appendectomy until the resumption of masturbation. Haven't heard of any research in the TTM (time to masturbation) arena, but 2 weeks is probably a safe interval. A teen or young adult should be well-healed by then. If the surgery was complicated by other factors such as major infection, then a longer TTM might be wise.
