Can depend on a lot: I consider effective flatfoot surgery as consisting of a good cosmetic and functional result. The degree of flatfootedness will dictate your surgical options. No surgery is without risk or complications. Some procedures require cutting of bone, some require fusion and there are other options as well. For one of the others, see hypo cure.com. If nothing else , u will learn much.
