How many ladies have had a cerclage and the pregnancy gone ok?

Many: Many of my patients have had successful cerclages and delivered at term. The argument is whether bedrest alone is just as good as a cerclage and rest.... I tell my patients that each pregnancy is different and has different risks. What works for one, may not work for another. Usually cerclages after 18 weeks are higher risk and not as successful as ones done earlier in pregnancy.
